Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. Buss is the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently acts as the association's president. Buss, who is originally from California, was raised in an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty tycoon, and then later owned the Lakers. Her feelings of abandonment were heightened as her parents divorced in 1972. She joined the family business when she was 19 and became the general manager of the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. In the following years, she created the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. Before she became vice president of the Lakers in 2013, she was president of Great Western Forum. Buss took over the Lakers through her father's estate in 2013. The five siblings she had inherited it through a family trust. She took on the role of president for the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss also co-owns Women of Wrestling, a professional wrestling promotion with headquarter in Los Angeles.
